Built as part of the 1980s efforts to clean up the polluted Cardiff Bay, we’re going to have a guided tour of the waste water plant on Rover Way to collectively think about clean, safe water for everyone. We’ll then walk to Splott Beach for an evening picnic and maybe a bonfire, to enjoy the sparkling grey sands and industrial heritage rubble from the old steelworks.
