Cardiff brown bins collect 600 tonnes of waste food every year. It goes to the Welsh Water site on Rover Way, Tremorfa, into an anaerobic digestion process to make biogas that powers the waste water treatment site next door. This free tour of the working site will let us ask questions and share knowledge and ideas about food systems, energy and waste. See the sign up form for transport and safety info and accessibility notes.
Join everyone after the tour for a delicious community meal at Ty Ni. Sign up for the event and remember the confirmation if you are coming to the feast!
